​Tinderet MP Hon Julius Melly has said Tindiret Technical Training Institute (TTTI) will start admitting students for its technical courses as soon as Phase 1 is completed

The legislator, who is also the Vice Chair of the Education Committee in parliament,had visited the site today to inspect the on going work in the institution.

“These technical institute will ensure students who do not get university admission get a chance to further their education in many technical courses that are going to be offered in the institution ” said Hon Melly.

He said technical training was critical in any developing economy, adding that Kenya and especially Tinderet Constituency is now in need of masons, electricians, plumbers among other labour-related Field..
“There is a growing demand for technicians in various fields across the globe, and the establishment of such institutions across all constituencies is aimed at meeting the demands for such key talents,” added Hon Melly.
He said technical training will offer an alternative for students yearning for higher education for them to realise their goals in future and ensure that they get Quality Technical Education.
